Halie Silverman-Brown

Halie loves teaching young musicians and has guided them to attend many notable festivals, competitions, auditions, and schools including ASU, Frost School of Music, Eastman, George Washington, CalArts, University of Wisconsin, UT Austin, the Air Force Academy, CCM, and many other schools and universities.

As a performer and a teacher, I believe that having a solid fundamental base, being able to work well with others, and having a disciplined work ethic are necessary elements for a successful career both in music and other careers. Having studied with Jim Thompson at the Eastman School of Music and Brian Shaw at LSU I have had an extremely successful team and trumpet lineage both as a student and performer.
